FIKO FIELD NOTES

How to structure a home service website

A practical service-page map separates customer decisions without multiplying thin pages.

Start with appointment types

List the services the business actually offers. Group tasks that share the same appointment, expertise, and quote inputs. Repair and replacement may deserve different paths; synonyms alone do not.

Protect useful existing pages

Review available Search Console queries and landing-page outcomes before changing URLs. Improve an established relevant page when it already matches the intent. Map redirects if a real move is necessary.

Add local detail where it helps

Publish truthful coverage boundaries, access considerations, and approved local projects. Do not generate a page for every city with only a new heading.

Link for the next decision

Connect relevant guides to commercial pages, related services to one another, and every important page to an understandable contact route.
